Israel Musicals to Present Four More Performances of FRANKIE SINATRA and HELLO LOUIS!

Israel-Musicals-to-Present-Four-More-Performances-of-FRANKIE-SINATRA-and-HELLO-LOUIS-20010101

"One of the reasons I loved the show as much as I did was that (Yisrael) Lutnick wasn't impersonating Sinatra! Instead, he was sharing his heart, his soul, his voice, his acting, his talent, and bringing Frank Sinatra's music alive through his gift." Kimberly Vaughn (Broadway performer, producer, director and teacher).

Did you know that Sinatra had a Rabbi? What would have happened had Frank Sinatra followed Harry James unbelievable advice? What outrageous thing did Sinatra do to President Kennedy?

Join The Broadway Rabbi, Yisrael Lutnick for an unforgettable evening of song and story. This is not an impersonation of Sinatra, it is a journey to meet the real Ol' Blue Eyes through his best songs and amazing, but true, stories. And with Rabbinical commentary!

With special opening tribute to Louis Armstrong by Dr. Jazz, Elazar Brandt! Sing along with What A Wonderful World, Hello Dolly, and learn some fascinating stories about Satchmo.

"(Yisrael) looks at Frank Sinatra thorugh a Jewish lens, which makes for a fresh and fun exploration of some of the greatest songs ever written." Dan Feyer, pianist and musical director in NY.

Also, JEST, the Jerusalem English Speaking Theater, has two back to back plays this month at Ramat Rachel.

EDUCATING RITA - Willy Russell, with a tip of his hat to G.B. Shaw's Pygmalion, features a young woman looking to rise above her working class limitations through higher education, at a local university in the north of England. Featuring David Glickman and Nikki Simon, the play presents a verbal duel rich with humor, as both professor and student learn precious life lessons from their different life experiences and from one another.

EDUCATING RITA -- REMAINING PERFORMANCE DATES:
Wednesday, October 24 – 6 PM
Thursday, October 25 – 8 PM

COLLECTED STORIES takes us across the sea to New York City. Obviously Jewish professor, Ruth Steiner, hesitatingly allows her student, Lisa Morrison, who is part of her academic world, into her barren social life. Bakol Ruben Gellar and Ronit Glaser will take the roles of Professor Steiner and Lisa Morrison, and with wit and wile, will show the evolving, shaking relationship between the two.

COLLECTED STORIES -- REMAINING PERFORMANCE DATES:
Wednesday, October 31 – 6 PM Thursday, November 1 – 8 PM. All performances will be at the theatre at Kibbutz Ramat Rachel. Individual ticket orders - JEST – 642-0908.
